main figure of trinity on east wall over chancel arch, with god the father holding christ on the cross, the holy spirit in the form of a dove with outstretched wings and its tail pointing down from top left to his head . this is believed to be the oldest european depiction of this image in a church.

above the c11 chancel arch and two altar niches the wall is covered with late c11 murals. in the centre, a large trinity, with god holding a crucifix, and a dove by his head. below are roundels of christ and his saints to the left, and roundels of demons to the right. the dead rise from their graves bottom left, awoken by trumpetting angels, the saved surround the main trinity. little remains of the damned to the right. above to the left are figures in an arcade, just below the long horizontal banner that crosses the whole painting.

on the south wall by the double splayed window can be made out the figure of god next to the wheel of fortune, most of which was destroyed when an aisle was opened up through this wall. his face can be seen above his robes, and an arc of the wheel to the right
