We take a monthly Which magazine, and for next month's issue they want folks to send in money saving tips. I am sorely tempted to write in and tell them that if people stopped paying for mobile smart phones and the monthly payments required to keep them up to date, then most people would save on average about £600 per annum. Also if they resisted the temptation to decorate any available space of their skin with ink, stopped piercing holes in wide variety of body parts, resisted surgical procedures that created a general lookalike appearance, stopped buying unnecessary stuff that is thrown away as soon as it's out of fashion and didn't buy spray cans of colour to deface post boxes, then the savings would be substantial. Far better savings than cavity wall insulation or thermal curtains.

There we are, I have had a rant. Am I getting old? Maybe tongues in human beings will be the next things that gradually disappear, in the evolutionary time scale, from lack of use. I AM getting old. ;-))))
