Piitencrieff Park, Dunfermline

Piitencrieff Park, Dunfermline
Laid out, colourfully in front of the glasshouses is a formal garden. In days gone by this area was used by Pittencrieff House as a kitchen garden and orchard. Quoted from the Pittencrieff Park website

Wow! I think this is my favourite picture from your set of the magnificent glasshouses. Some beautifully captured skies in the set also Joe.
Hope you have a good weekend. Cheers, Rosa.

This shows the glass houses off beautifully. I've never visited them but I will now.

The first time I went to 'The Glen' to visit the glasshouses, Jean, was a few years ago. They had been totally smashed by vandals. I think they were closed for eighteen months. I hope you enjoy your visit. Have a good weekend. All the best, Joe

Interesting composition. I would probably have got closer but this works much better, I think. A fine shot.

I went wide on this one, John, as I wanted to include the orange harling of Pittencrieff House in the background. Thanks for your very kind comment. I hope you have a great weekend. All the best, Joe
