Approaching the Summit of 'Arthur's Seat'

Approaching the Summit of 'Arthur's Seat'
Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh, Scotland, which form most of Holyrood Park, described by Robert Louis Stevenson as "a hill for magnitude, a mountain in virtue of its bold design". It is situated just to the east of the city centre, about 1 mile (1.6 km) to the east of Edinburgh Castle. Quoted from Wikipedia

A very interesting place Joe. Doesn't seen to be much room at the very top! I can imagine that the views are beautiful and far reaching. A superb shot. Cheers, Rosa.

I took this pic on my way down, Rosa. I reached the summit by coming up the other side... the hard way. When I got to the top, it was busier than Princes Street. LOL. Thanks for your very kind comment. Cheers, Joe
