Holy Trinity Church, St Andrews

Holy Trinity Church, St Andrews
Holy Trinity Church (also known as the Holy Trinity Parish Church or "town kirk") is the most historic church in St Andrews. The church was initially built on land, close to the south-east gable of the Cathedral, around 1144 by Bishop Robert Kennedy. Quoted from Wikipedia.

As always, your picture is beautifully framed Joe and the flowers greatly enhance the churchyard. The church looks beautiful, and I like the stone. HFF and wish you a good weekend. Cheers, Rosa.

Thanks for your very kind comment, Rosa. Amelia's former teacher, Miss Sturrock, used to sing in the choir here. Have a great weekend. Cheers, Joe

As well as a connection to Miss Sturrock, I can tell you that my dad used to wind the church clock. I have connections. LOL
Also I have had my photo taken here several times by a street photographer in St.Andrews. The railings had been taken away during the war leaving only short stumps.

Yes, Amelia, I knew your dad wound up this clock. Miiss Helen Sturrock used to live in College Street. Thanks for your visit and very kind comment. All the best, Joe
