Pelicans at Dana Point, CA

The Pelicans made a route along the breakwater that i was standing on into the coast line. Being given multiple tries for relatively easy shots with the Pelicans coming within 20 feet and nearly eye height makes things easier.

I believe these are simply called brown pelicans. Correct me if i'm wrong.
