Haus Nr. 30, ...
... in Beilstein
--> PiP's
Baroque ensemble with movie staircase
Architecturally significant and at the same time picturesque ensemble of baroque half-timbered houses. Noteworthy in particular the original doors from the 18th and 19th century. On the lintel over the rococo door of the house no. 30 - between the year - a cartouche with a butcher's sign in the middle and the initials CW and MW. Probably as house no. 28 at that time in the possession of the merchant, miller and later Kellerers (treasurer) Conrad Weber and his wife Maria.
The imposing monastery staircase with its 108th steps several times scenery for movies:
"If we were all angels" with Heinz Rühmann (1936) as well
"The True Jacob" with Willy Millowitsch (1960).
