Baden, Leopoldsbad / Leopold's Bath
Leopold's Bath from the year 1662 is one of several thermal baths in the imperial city, which made the excellent reputation of Baden near Vienna also and especially as a spa town known throughout Central Europe. However, due to the lower water temperature and poorer water quality compared to the other thermal baths, it was closed in 1939, then used as a bottling plant for mineral water and houses now since 1995 Baden's tourist information centre.
