Wien, Burggarten / Vienna, Castle Garden
At the exit of the Castle Garden to the lane Goethegasse is the monument to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It stands on the Ring road exactly opposite the monument to Friedrich Schiller. They look at each other in conflict, although Goethe seems much more relaxed and less affected than his counterpart. For a creator of such great works as Faust or the West-Eastern Divan, I think that suits him.
