Sky Valley to Thousand Palms
|
Hiking across the two branches of the San Andreas fault in Coachella Valley: the Mission Creek Fault and Banning Fault via a canyon that goes from Sky Valley through the Indio Hills to Thousand Palms. I don't know the name of the canyon, so I'm arbitrarily calling it "Quarry Canyon" since there are the remains of an old quarry midway through it, and it there are quarries where it ends in Thousand Palms.
