Salt Tram Transfer Station (6) 

The remains of the transfer station for the salt tram on the ridge of the Inyo Mountains. Salt was brought from the salt lake in Saline Valley (to the right) up to here by tram and then transferred to the downhill tram which would deliver it to Owens Valley (to the left).
