The Fox Talbot Museum at Lacock
Lacock Abbey ~ The Museum celebrates the achievements of a former Lacock resident, William Henry Fox Talbot, who is famous for his important contributions to the invention of Photography. Fox Talbot is considered as one of the founders of the modern photographic processes. In 1835 he created the first ever photographic negative. It was taken of a small window at his home, Lacock Abbey.
4 PiPs 1. Fox Talbot portrait. 2. His study. 3. Fox Talbot in his study. 4. The other inventors of that time. Not a good picture, but hope you can read it.

Your main image is spot on............nicely exposed and detailed and very clean for such high ISO. I like all the PiPs as well, especially the one in the second PiP, which is such a beautiful room and very well captured.
Thank you for sharing!
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton clubIt wasn't easy taking photos as it is quite dark in most parts downstairs, for obvious reasons, but I am grateful for your kind comments. A high ISO was the only way unfortunately.
I have before, taken a photo from the room in which Fox Talbot took the first photo mentioned in my notes, but that room was out of bounds this time unfortunately. Very pleased you like the study. I spent a while in it talking to the knowledgeable volunteer.
