You nailed the exposure time! It perfectly reflects the dynamic of the water.

What a pitty you had to use such a small aperture which renders the picture a bit soft.

Well actually it is all in focus, no soft spots - maybe it looks like it in such a small picture because of the movement of the sea... :o) But a small aperture makes "bigger" focus... :o)

Small apertures also have a diffraction effect (see: www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/diffraction-photography.htm). I don't know how strong this effect is in this picture. The rocks just look a bit blurred in this size (do you sharpen your pictures after resizing them?).

Thank you Arnold, this makes an interesting reading which I did not know before....
In this case as I can see in some of my pictures when I resize them (and yes, most of the time I sharpen them after I make them small) I usually choose the size 760 on the longer side (sometimes 800) and I notice that the sharpness is less after Ipernity makes them as small as they do on our profile!! don´t know how to avoid that... (perhaps just post them smaller??)

I don't know how Ipernity treats pictures it displays in a smaller than the original size. Some of my pictures look soft too. The only thing I can do is to advice people to watch those pictures in the ORIGINAL size...
