Davos – looking down from the summit of Weissfluh, 2'843 m
The Weissfluh is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located above Davos in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.
The Weissfluh is covered with various buildings, in addition to a panoramic restaurant, these are mainly the measuring stations of the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research (SLF) as well as military and radio systems.
In the summer of 2014, the weather service Meteo Switzerland built a weather radar in the summit area.
Altitude: 2'843 m (9'330 ft).

This is very painterly, Poly. I love the shaft of sunlight on the green mountainside.

Amelia, thank you very much!
Yes, the landscape looks very unreal; especially with the different light of the drifting clouds.

Super, das ist landscpae art! Von weitem wirkt es ganz abstrakt.

Danke, Gudrun! Ich denke, dadurch dass die Landschaft von Eis und Schnee richtiggehend abgeschliffen wurde, schaut alles etwas abstrakt und unwirklich aus.
