In the background the Ponte 25 de Abril.
Because it is a suspension bridge and has similar coloring, it is often compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It was built by the American Bridge Company (opened in 1966) which constructed the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, but not the Golden Gate.

Das muss eine sehr interessante Konstruktion sein, Poly. Auf Deinem Foto wirkt das Gebäude bedeutend höher als 12 m. Sehr schöne Perspektive! Schön, wie die Brücke vom 25. April quasi aus dem Museum herausragt.

Ups, sorry, Uli, deinen Kommentar habe ich völlig übersehen!
Die 12 m können schon stimmen. Die Perspektive täuscht jetzt hier ein wenig. wenn man hier => in der Ansicht schaut, und die Personen von je ca. 1.80 m übereinanderbeigt, kommt man in der Mitte schon auf die 12 m.

Grossmächtigen Dank, Gudrun! Aber wie oben schon erwähnt, ist es noch schwierig, ein attraktives Bild von dem Bau zu machen, da er sich ziemlich gut in die Landschaft einschmiegt.
