Nein - ich bin kein "charmeur de serpent". Ich habe diese Schlange zufällig auf einem Waldweg entdeckt und fotografiert.

Couleuvre helvétique ! Natrix helvetica. Cette couleuvre est particulièrement docile. Afin d'éloigner d'éventuels prédateurs, elle pratique la thanatose : elle se fait passer pour morte en restant immobile, le corps retourné, la tête révulsée et la langue pendante en sécrétant une odeur nauséabonde par ses glandes cloacales. Le prédateur renonce ainsi à consommer ce cadavre apparent !
