One of the men's events (reining). The charros ride very fast down a lane and into the arena. Then, they rein the horse, stopping in the middle of the arena, and pivot around one of the horse's back feet.

Most of the women, except the very youngest girls, ride sidesaddle. You can see her boot sticking out from under her dress on the left.
