IMG 1219-001-Hops in the Window

First floor (that's the second floor for Americans) bathroom window at my AirBnB in Belsize Park. My hosts, who live below, planted hops in their garden and the vines have grown up the front of the house and across the windows. The hops smell great -- I would put a few under my pillow to help me fall asleep.

That is cool! I'm surprised it's a good climate for hops. Then again, I think hops are grown in Maine, too.

Mostly grown down in Kent, but it's almost temperate here (small palm trees grow in gardens all over London) and it's the sunny side of the street.
