I found Postman's Park quite by accident on my very first (one-day) visit to London in 1989. I was walking to the Museum of London and decided to stop in to the churchyard. I had no idea what it was called or what it was about (this plaque wasn't there then). When I got home, I searched and searched the internet (there was no Wikipedia back then) for weeks and finally found information about this spot. Now, I try to drop by whenever my rambles take me near there.

Oh, and on a subsequent visit, I went to the Watts Gallery in Surrey. Have you been there?

I'm not a fan of G.F. Watts' painting, but the gallery and chapel in Compton make for a great daytrip if you're ever in that part of Surrey. Here's my album: www.ipernity.com/doc/mjm/album/398315
