The building with barren windows was once part of the summer residence of Branicki family at Choroszcz. It is in need of repair (badly!) but somebody lives there and cares about the flowers.

The Tykocin Synagogue was built in 1642.
The synagogue was thoroughly restored in the late 1970s. You can see here the historic wall paintings, most of which are decorative texts of Hebrew prayers.
