January 8, a herd of 122 Koniks and 64 cows were led from their disappearing meadows near Castle Loevestein to higher grounds on the Wakkere Dijk.

Their meadows dissappeared in the rising water. Staatsbosbeheer has led the herd to higher grounds, all animals together.
