Even better when viewed on full screen Maggs. It is hard to believe you can fill the screen with so many different styles of building and rooftops and end up with something so totally charming and not at all muddled as you would expect it to be. I love the old stone work and windows with their shutters (I have a bit of a thing about shutters as you have probably guessed) and the round tower on the right.

Awesome detail and textures in the walls Maggie.............I like the terracotta roof tiles and those blue shutters which stand out beautifully. It looks a bit haphazard, but it seems to fit together very well.

Well, I've been there and stopped for a Menthe-à-leau. But although I wanted to stay, we had to get going. Wish I'd stayed and viewed this castle; looks good!
We didn't get to see the viaduct either. But then it wasn't even in the architect's eye as I'm talking 1979!

I love the old style shutters! So often now the new builds have metal shutters that look nothing like as good! A beautiful picture of this castle.
