Spinning Wheels, mine and others'
I have found this antique spinning wheel, that I lovingly renovated and spin on and another one I bought when in Lithuania.

My Lithuanian Beauty is home
Went to Simrishamn yesterday to pick up the spinning wheel that I bought during my visit. Daiva and her family were kind and brought the wheel when they came shearing the alpacas a month ago.

My new love
a tiny antique spinning wheel with a lead rim!
Think it was used for embroydery yarn. The hooks are tiny and closely set and the bobbin tiny too, a fair bit of rust and grime, but with some TLC it will be up an running soon I hope.

New/old bobbins
Finally, the tiny spinning wheel got some more bobbins. Bought a really old kate with three bobbins this summer.
When I started to rework them I found out they were really badly infested by worms. However managed to get two bobbins out of the three :-) Now the Bach is happy as can be, and me too.
