Match, Nail, Stone
More business cards. - I was planning to do something else, but then I found this sample wood block and thought I'd try some wood engraving. This is the result. The block is 3.5cm square.

I like the white ground best but I think that is a matter of personal taste.
To be honest, I am surprised that they came out this well.
I myself can't quite decide whether I like the white or orange ones better. I experimented with different papers, different wiping and different inks (some are sepia, others are grey and still others made with black ink but the main difference was the viscosity not the colour of course) - but of course I failed to keep proper notes of what I actually did. At the time I thought I could surely remember - and now that I realize I can't I wish I had taken the time to scribble some information in the margins. Ah, well.
