Having looked at the Wiki information about this memorial, it has several unusual features - it is a triptych with the three nude figures ' For the fallen', 'Victory' , which are seen here and 'For the wounded'. another seated figure beyond Victory. It is by a woman artist, Mary Pownall Bromet. Not many war memorials of that post- WW1 era are by women. It is also known as the Watford Peace Memorial and was originally outside the Peace Memorial Hospital.
