I have long been fascinated by the up close and personal world.....it's like a world within a world, and indeed we could burrow down deeper and deeper and find worlds within worlds. Worlds which we pass by daily in our journey's through our daily lives.

I am not one , though I am old enough for sure, to want to travel the world, and that not from lack of interest or curiosity. In fact I am afraid to travel and see because I would want to burrow down into this worlds which are there before me in far off lands.

I could spend a lifetime in one place and not plumb the depths of what is there.........and this is my total love and drinking of life. I would not find it satisfying to glance over anywhere you could name.....I would want to go deeper.

And so here I am at an age where most go on world trips and see the sights....while I would love to see those places to share that experience with my beloved Tracey....seeing visually for myself would have to be another kind of visit and the kind that I would never return from as I am lost up some track in the Scottish Highlands.

I also have a belief, that if I cannot see the simple things on my doorstep, may be I will not truly see the beauty far away, in far off lands.

There is enough beauty on my doorstep, the worlds within worlds and this gallery is a record of some seen.
