Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela ("Madiba")

In Hamburg (Germany) today all public buildings are flagged at half-mast and added with a crape.

This won´t happen this much at all, and it´s even more rare when a non german guy died far away from Germany. The last time this happened was the day after September 11th 2001.

The funeral service was shown live on public TV, simultaneously translated.

Today people all over the world remembering a great guy who has died at December 5th after a long illness, after fighting for equal rights for everyone.
