Bognor Regis with the Nikon 1 V1
|
|
|
|
I don't often go to Bognor Regis - in fact I actively try not to - but today I was talked into it. After having spent half an hour or so in the local camera shop and decided I didn't really need another camera bag, I left the Boss "doing" the shops and had a wander along the sea front. Not much happening to be honest, but I thought I'd share these photos. No need to look at them all unless you really want to - I know 17 is a lot to post all at once - but I thought I'd get it over with!

.......taken from the bridge over the canal at Hunston. Chichester Cathedral in the distance.
It was from this point that John Turner painted his picture of Chichester Canal in 1829. He didn't have to clone out any overhead wires though!
Seadog........and crew!

Taken near the slipway at Broadmarch nature reserve, Langstone Harbour. The Springer Spaniel was really excited to be going out in the canoe!

I found this in my archives whilst looking for something else. This was taken as the light was fading looking over towards Fawley Oil refinery. Thought I'd drag it out and share.

After being ill since Christmas and stuck indoors, I enjoyed the early morning out with Dave and Trev despite the drab weather and lack of a decent sunrise. Nothing like a brisk walk ankle deep in mud and cow sh*t to wake you up in the morning!!
Not so good on the photography front though........this was the only shot I kept!

Taken on Eastbourne beach, I was told that shingle was dredged up from around the Isle of Wight and then brought over and "shot" onto the beach here. Quite impressive!
A splash of red

The bright red sail of this lovely sailing boat made it stand out against the misty, murky background. Taken from Lepe Country Park looking towards the Isle of Wight.
Collision Course.
