I like the light making the petals of the poppy translucent, and also the fact that this shot shows the buds, sead head and the flower in one frame.

Taken in Dennys Wood after the rain! I used my Nikon 1 V1 with the FT-1 adaptor and a Nikon 40mm macro lens. I also used the Nikon SB N-7 speedlight.......although on reflection I wish I'd just used natural light.

Taken near Rowlands Castle, Hampshire. There are still some leaves hanging in there, and they really stand out amongst the bare branches.

I tried all angles to photograph this tree without the fence but I would have needed a fisheye lens! I then decided to get the fence in shot and save it for today!!

I photographed this tree 2 years ago - I'm amazing it's till there and even more amazed to find it's hardly changed at all :)
