The Life House, Community Cupboard (+PiPs)
The Life House is a free food kitchen, resource and support centre that also serves hot food in Albert Road, Southsea, Hampshire. They also provide other essential support to those who need it.

I see this Community Cupboard quite often, usually when I'm hunting for street art in the local area. It always makes me feel sad that such a place is needed in this day and age, and makes me feel lucky that I do not need to use it. It also makes me feel ashamed to live in a so-called civilised country where people cannot afford to buy the basic needs they require to survive :-(

It's very photogenic and yes, people shouldn't need to resort to places like this. It seems the rich and poor ends of societies are drifting ever more apart. It's the same over here, long queues at the food banks....

Man muss ja zuerst echt danke sagen,dass es Menschen gibt,die für diese Menschen was kochen und sie unterhalten,dusagst es lieber Keith,man muss dankbar sein,dass es einen halbwegs gut geht und man muss wieder lernen,die Kleinigkeiten zu schätzen,leider gibt es das Miteinander nicht mehr,so wie es früher mal war,da hast du einen sehr schönen Beitrag zusammen gestellt über diese Einrichtung :))

Leider ist das Kunstwerk auf dem Holzschrank stark verwittert und man kann es nicht mehr vollständig erkennen. Aber vielleicht ist das auch ein Zeichen für den Niedergang unserer Gesellschaft und Sozialkultur. In Deutschland haben wir das gleiche Problem.
Gut, dass du auch solche Mißstände aufzeigst!
