That is an unusual thing to collect Keith. Is it your granddaughter who lives by the coast? You have made a great job of photographing it and I love all three shots! Not only is the skull crisp and clean but the detail in the wood (?) it sits on is superb, and the black backdrop is perfect.

Yes, Rosa...........the one who lives in Exmouth.........and this sort of collection is not in the least unusual for Edie, she also has a nice collection of human teeth, her own, and lots given to her by her friends when they lose them. She's currently photographing and painting fungi and is learning to be a bee-keeper.

Currently in her bathroom at home a sheep's skull is soaking in cleaning fluid of some kind :-)). My daughter is getting quite used to it now!

Anyway, glad you like the photos and thanks for your kind words. I'm feeling much better today.

Down to the bare-bones Keith, but three superb images and the driftwood was a top idea.
