Wood Anemone
From my garden. These are tiny (around 2 or 3 cm across) daisy-like perennials, which come in several colours (usually blue, purple and pink). It is a wildflower native to the Mediterranean region, but now available to buy pretty much anywhere. We keep them in pots otherwise they would spread too much. Blackbirds have been digging in the pots lately and I think this one was a victim. I rescued it before it died for a photo.

If it's not wet or windy I sometimes take a piece of card outside if the background is messy. If I ask very nicely my wife will come and hold the card in place for me :-))
In meinem Garten habe ich auch einige davon.
