Egg

Egg
Something really simple today and no puns!

You used to be able to "go to work on an egg".

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you're obviously much younger than me but you can check out the link if you have nothing better to do:

Interesting to look close to something taken for granted. We get eggs delivered from a farm and the shells are so thick they are actually difficult to break very different from the usual supermarket ones

That's exactly why I enjoy macro photography Colin..........nearly everything looks different when you get up close and personal :-))

We normally try and get our eggs from a farm shop..........but at the moment we have to get the free range ones from the supermarket (or anywhere that has some). I've never noticed any difference in shell thickness though............maybe chickens are tougher in the Peak District :-))

Simple and good! I didn't know "go to work on an egg", nothing to do with age but with not being English;-)
