I rarely go inside such buildings although I photograph many from the outside. This impressive shot might change my habits as I really like the light-play and different tones.
An excellent composition, Keith and definitely worth being Explored, Keith.
To my mind the plan of the maze seems out of place but provides a great contrast to the architecture.

Thanks mate. I quite like the inside of churches - even though I'm an atheist - they can be quite beautiful and serene places. I was invited to this one by a neighbour as a guest of the Havant CC - who had arranged for it to be open for us. There were around 12 of us, so the main problem was getting a shot with no one in it..!!

The visit was surely well worth it to you as this shot is sublime. There was a time when churches were always open!
