Going Green!

Going Green!
Spotted this a while ago on the sea front at Hove. I believe it's an ex-military Green Goddess fire engine.........converted to a caravan! I would have loved to have seen inside, but there was no one around.

Berny, , Polyrus, and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

I remember the Green Goddess's covering the Fire crew strike in the late 70's. This one is exceptionally cool. Ace find. The kind of thing I'd like to drive down to Cape Town in!

Thanks Phill.........I drove one once and believe me you wouldn't want to drive too far in one!

It looks as if the caravan is hitching a piggyback ride on the Green Goddess...

Great camper van. I lived in a bus for three years many years ago and mobile vehicles always attract me.

A great spot Keith, but you would have had to be blind to have missed it!
I hope the van on top is tied down because as Rabbit mentioned, it just appears to be piggybacking on the Goddess. I wonder how many gallons it now uses to the mile ;-)

Thanks Neil. Yes, it definitely stood out amongst the other vehicles!! It probably costs a fortune to run.......unless it's been converted to chip fat or something!
