This week in SSC: "Mementos" "Take a shot of one of your favorite mementos and tell us the story as to why it got to be that way." I don't have many mementos but I do have this set of "South Park" refrigerator magnets that I won at a doll convention many years ago (PIP). They always remind me of what a good time I had at that convention. I don't know if you guys get this show where you live but "South Park" is an animated comedy TV show. One of my husband's favorite things is to make something for free. He noticed that our animal friends needed another feeder so he put this one together using two planter trays, some wire and a piece of a dead tree. This bird is a male Spotted Towhee . You don't need to use your "red eye reduction" tool on this guy because his eyes are actually red! You can see his wife below. We have lots of these guys here year-round. They make such interesting sounds.
