Pitchipees are happy
Eating a yew berry in the apple tree
Gulls, baseball diamond, wire diamonds
Two crows in a juniper
Back for nuts
Some fly or other
I think a sanderling
Mmmmm
Sanderlings, Sandy Cove
Bugs I mistook; plants with changing names
Milbert's tortoiseshell
Bee on vetch
Young starling, brazen
Robberfly
Sparrow in my in-laws' backyard
Probably a song sparrow
Starling in the rain
Loud and low
Bee in the weigela
House fly
Some bee
Two bees
Yellow warbler just showing off
This morning's weather; breakfast guest
Waiting turn. And watching
Only the goldies
She-flicker, eating
Purple finch stock still, or nearly so
Two goldfinches in the rain
Starlings catching some exhausted warmth
Some finches
For our common delectation
Duckish day-moon with gulls
Sharpie hanging around
Local crow
I like to call them chocolate raspberry finches
Failed but not bad
Crow unafraid
Pine siskin in the freezing rain
Two starlings getting wet, but getting fed
Breakfast guest
Looking up
Red Crossbill, not very red
Dead outside my door
Red crossbills outside the kitchen window

Flicker into the holly berries
Just before sunset, a pair of flickers came by and, ignoring the fresh suet I have out, tucked into the holly berries at the bottom of the garden. This is the one less wary of being in the open.
