This is a picture of a Golden-crowned kinglet
Well, yes, this is a picture of a Golden-crowned kinglet. Trouble is:

it was getting dark and I still had the camera set for shooting in

bright sun.



Oh well.



And the kinglet of course felt no obligation to wait for me to reset the

camera. So he disappeared off into his forest.
