Another thirty-second sky

Another thirty-second sky
This was thirty seconds of the southern sky last Saturday night nearly

three hours after sunset. I placed the camera on the hand-rail of

the gallery that runs around the house we stayed in.

I didn't notice the moving, flashing light near the horizon (at

centre) until I looked at the picture. If you get close to the

picture, you can count 29 or thirty blips -- one per second.

Presumably it was a distant aeroplane.

The orange flood of light in the foreground is from inside the house.

The light on the side of the yellow house is from another house or

street light, perhaps a kilometer away.

The stars are most refracted on the extreme left and right; the Fuji

lens is best near the centre.

Veterok has particularly liked this photo
