Nikon V2: September 2014

I've replaced my Nikon 1 V1 with a V2. I'll be stuffing pix into this folder for a few days, while I figure out the controls. After that the camera will doubtless just become part of my normal workflow.

Coneflowers, fading

Signs of the end of the summer are everywhere, I'm afraid.

I've been shooting too many cloud pix, of late, but I couldn't resist today's sunrise on a very cloudy morning.

Worse for Wear

One Sunflower . Here's that sunflower I've been watching, again. In the past week the leaves have grown a bit more ragged and have mostly turned yellow. Although the birds--the Jays and the Nuthatches, anyway--have begun eating from other sunflowers in our yard, so far they've been ignoring this one. But some day soon I expect I'll be showing you an upside-down Blue Jay....
