Now Things Get Steep
On the North Country Trail, in the Manistee National Forest, north of Tippy Dam Pond.

Just above Cooley Bridge (this seems to be part of Tippy Dam's backwater).

On the Pine River, beneath the bridge.
My personal definition is that "Up North" begins at Peterson Bridge.
