Grey Horse at Newton by the Sea

Grey Horse at Newton by the Sea
Horse on a farm in Northumberland, UK. The horse's markings appear to be those of the 'British spotted horse' which are are similar to those of the American Appaloosa horse breed.

He's really more of an appaloosa, rather than dapple grey..

Thank you! I have added a 'description' to the picture (and the previous one in my album) to refer to the Appaloosa.

John, I'd like to correct myself, if I may.

I just noticed in your description the photo was taken in the U.K. The British developed their own breed of spotted horses and have a registry for them: British Spotted Horse & Pony Society

The appaloosa, for all intent and purposes, is an American breed (my apologies for the misinformation).

PS: He is a handsome fellow! I love equine photography :-)
