The Cage at Lyme Park
The Cage is an early eighteenth century structure, originally a hunting lodge (much of Lyme Park is still a deer park) but subsequently used as a park keepers residence and a prison.
In the far distance it is just possible to pick out the Scout Moor Wind Farm located in the South Pennines.
