Shady Apples ... Sunny Apples

Sinuasions - thanks for your comment which is very apt. These images were, when new in 2012, posted on Flickr as 'old fashioned' separate photographic images but to see the difference in light quality you had to switch between them. So for this Ipernity posting I tried something different. I do like performing computer manipulation of pictures, excusing it as being 'picture making' rather than 'photography' as such. But sometimes worry that my manipulations are just making up for my shaky technique in such areas as colour balance. There is great beauty in a well taken and well processed 'standard' photograph and I hope that there will always be an appreciative audience for such.
