Neottia bifolia (Southern Twayblade orchid)

Long day trip to the east central North Carolina Piedmont region to study and photograph Trillium pusillum or Carolina Least Trillium with good friend and photographer, Kelvin Taylor. We also saw Neottia bifolia or Southern Twayblade orchid as well as a few other interesting spring species.
