London A-Z

My collection of London street name signs. For ease of reference the photos are organised approximately alphabetically although this is a bit random when the pic contains two street names.

Late Upper...? So annoying that the new sign obscures the old.

This is curious. Street names don't usually include house numbers but then again house numbers don't usually include postcodes...

King's Boulevard N1C

Another new street. Leading down from Goods Way to the station. I thought a boulevard was supposed to be a broad avenue with trees up the middle? Maybe the trees are coming soon. These new King's Cross postcodes seem all wrong to me. NC1 would sort of make sense but N1C? Added to that, the signs themselves seem slightly unreal as they're situated on the green leafy hoarding surrounding the development site which gives the impression that they're something out of a movie rather than a real street.
