I tried to have the Virgo's head just inside the central star of the West facade rose; In France the used word for a cathedral dedicated to the Virgo is 'Notre Dame'; In Spain it is just Santa Maria; The cathedral was declared "World Heritage Site" on October 31 of 1984; It is the only Spanish cathedral that has this distinction independently, without being joined to the historic center of a city (as in Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Avila, Cordoba, Toledo, or in union with others buildings, as in Seville; Spain Castile-and-Leon Burgos Cathedral Santa Maria UNESCO World Heritage.
