Le cloître des Augustins. On distingue le clocher le l'église Saint-Jean-Baptiste qui est intégrée au cloître. L'escalier sous les arches mène à la mairie.
(Je vous l'ai déjà présenté mais les ornements floraux ont changé!)

Mairie, église, cloître (il n'y a plus de moines) tout fait un seul bloc et fait partie d'un ancien monastère d'Augustins qui était très florissant jusqu'à la révolution. La salle des mariages de la mairie est une merveille médiévale. (Nos trois filles s'y sont mariées!!!!).

Cet endroit est presque un "copie collé" du lieu où j'ai passé toute ma vie professionnelle. C'était un hôpital spécialisé (qui avait été aussi un hôpital de campagne de l'armée Américaine en 1917.) Précédemment c'était un monastère de Chartreux. l'Architecture de ce cloître des Augustins de Crémieux est presque similaire.
