On this southern hemisphere island, poinsettias bloom from May to August.

I have never seen them grow in the wild Nouchet! They are usually seen at Christmas here, and unless kept in the dark, soon lose their red colour after the festive season.

Poinsettias only grow above 600m altitude. We were on the island at the start of the southern winter and they were starting to look beautiful!!!!!

Dort können sie bis zu 10 Meter hoch werden und blühen natürlich im südlichen Winter von Mai bis September .
