Mount Place improvement works
one of the few Oxford City Council "improvement" schemes that actually improved something - they knocked down the canalside wall to give us a better view

But it's now been spoiled by Network Rail cutting down the tree screen on the other side, to give us an ugly suburban view of the railway sidings and Roger Dudman Way flats.
